This week we welcome a visiting group of 21 students and two teachers from our partner school in Zhongshan China. Staff and students are very excited to be in Bendigo for their 10-day cultural exchange.
Our visitors come from the city of Zhongshan in the south of China. They are with us until Wednesday (16 March) and will experience a number of formal classroom experiences as well as many activities in and around Bendigo. Please make these students welcome if they do join any of your classes between March 8 and 15.
At lunchtime on Wednesday our visitors shared their culture with the students studying VET Chinese after visiting the Marilyn Monroe exhibition in the morning. On Thursday they met with student Council and integrated into some BSSC classes. Friday saw the students visiting Camp Hill and teaching Chinese to the primary students and the long weekend will include shopping, time with their host families, and a farm visit.
