BSSC Specialisation Programs were implemented to cater for students with strong interests in specialist areas. Taking part in the Visual Arts Specialist program is important not only for future opportunities, but also to learn more about the art industry—and it’s a great addition to your CV or if you are applying for a scholarship. Art, the first program set up, has resulted in many students successfully entering tertiary courses of their choice.
The program for 2017 is looking good with practical workshops, exhibition of work, excursions to art galleries and exhibitions, leadership opportunities, mentoring and assistance with career development and work experience opportunities all on offer.
There is no additional cost to the program although some excursions may attract a small fee. If you would like to enrol in the Art Specialisation Program, the 15 minute information session is next Monday 20 Feb in Rm E26 at 10.15am.
