Victorian Schools Cycling Competition – state road final
Congratulations to Isaac Buckell who won last Sunday’s U/19 road final in the Victorian Schools Cycling Competition, with Connor Sens finishing a short distance back in second place. Connor White, Emerson Julian, and Michael Collier-Clarke also rode in the final around the streets of Bendigo.
Jeremy Pearson rode in the U/19 novice final and finished third. Well done to all competitors.
Athletics – School Sport Victoria state finals
It was a very successful day at the SSV State Athletics Finals last Monday, with BSSC athletes bringing home six medals.
Jake Hilson (20yr 400m) and Ben Powell (16yr 400m) picked up gold medals, with Jake also winning two silver medals (20yr 100m, 200m). Ella Farnell (16yr triple jump), and Mackenzie Cooper (20yr javelin) won bronze medals.
Congratulations to all other competitors who made it through to the finals and performed well on the day, even though they didn’t feature among the medals.
