As part of Bendigo’s celebration of our First Nations ‘young mob’, Djaa Djuwima gallery is presently hosting an exhibition celebrating the achievements and skills of local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.
The Young Mob Excelling exhibition is showing until August 30 at Djaa Djuwima, a dedicated and permanent First Nations Gallery located within the Bendigo Visitors Centre.
The showcase profiles skills across art, sport and film. Short films are a highlight and the ‘young mob’ stories are fascinating.
Many of these young people are students or alumni of BSSC. We celebrate their achievements and look forward to their ongoing growth and development in their chosen fields.
