Students from SMA Celebes Global School in Makassar, Indonesia, will be visiting BSSC from 22 July   until 5 August and are in need of homestay accommodation. You can help a student to experience life and culture in another country by welcoming them into your home.

The students come from an International school and all speak English, so communication won’t be an issue, and you’ll have a great opportunity to improve your knowledge and understanding of the lifestyle and culture of our closest neighbour, Indonesia.

Connecting with students from other cultures demonstrates an international outlook in your future job-seeking and opens up opportunities for future travel. Former BSSC student Jessica Syah’s family hosted an Indonesian visitor in 2000/2001 and formed a life-long friendship.

“We are like sisters,” she said. “We both have families of our own now and are still in regular contact. I’ve been to Makassar several times to visit her.”
