Senior VCAL students were back in the kitchen this morning preparing meals under the guidance of Caroline from Konjo Mama that will be distriubuted by Bendigo Foodshare in partnership with StreetSmart Australia.

Today, Ethiopian Messir Wot was on the menu—a dish made with lentils cooked in a rich and spicy tomato sauce.

The meals will be packaged into individual serves and frozen to be distributed to those in need within the central Victorian region.

Last week the students made over 60 serves of Apple Crumble as part of their Community Project for Personal Development and Work Related Skills.
