What a moment for our BSSC Lions players this morning when they trained with the reigning AFL Premiers at the QEO.
A big crowd turned out to watch our boys mix it with the best of the best, including Premiership players Dustin Martin, Jack Riewoldt, Bachar Houli and Josh Caddy.
BSSC’s Peter Hunt Medal winner from 2017, Nathan McHugh, was buzzing after the hour-long training session.
“We’re all really grateful for this once in a lifetime opportunity to train at an elite level with such high quality players,” Nathan said. “The skill level, intensity and enthusiasm they train with was a real eye-opener and gave us a really good insight into what football is like at the elite level.
“The Richmond boys were so welcoming and made sure they got around and had a chat with as many of us as they could.
