Sarah and Ash from ‘Make a Change Australia’ visited the college on Tuesday to chat with students about the health and wellbeing of people and the environment, and the connections between the two.

Students were asked to respond to three questions:
Where’s your happy place in nature and why?
What’s your favourite activity and why?
What do you think about the connection between people and the natural environment?

It’s the topic of discussion for the next Outside the Square gathering at La Trobe Uni on Thursday 27 July.

Outside the Square is a gathering for community groups, clubs, individuals, businesses, authorities and not-for-profits, to share ideas and get inspired about building connections to strengthen our community. Everyone is invited to contribute their ideas.

Speakers will cover a variety of angles exploring the theme, while showcasing local initiatives and great people doing great things.

Interactive discussion will encourage new ideas, greater connections and collaborative solutions.
