BSSC enrolments for 2017 are now open and the college Open Day on Sunday 24 July provides a wealth of information on programs, facilities and subjects available. Those considering enrolment at BSSC in 2017 are encouraged to visit our college from 11 am to 3:00 pm.

Extensive planning has gone into making Open Day as valuable as possible. Visitors will be able to access the Ulumbarra Theatre complex from all entry points, and subject displays will be located in the downstairs foyers.

Principal Dale Pearce will hold a parent information session in the Ulumbarra Theatre at 12:00 pm to explain how a VCE or VCAL program at BSSC is constructed. All visitors are welcome to attend this session.

Information sessions and demonstrations on how to register, enrol and choose your subjects online will also be available throughout the day.

The Principal and Assistant Principals will be on hand to meet with parents and talk about individual student programs.  Families can also meet with Learning and Engagement Coordinators and the college Careers Team for course counselling in the upstairs foyer area.

La Trobe University and Bendigo TAFE will also be at Open Day showing students the links to further education or training courses.

During the day, current students will be leading tours of the college. Tours will leave the welcome desk area in the central hub of the theatre entry and include the trade training and language centres, along with BSSC’s fabulous Science, Arts and English, Hospitality and Performing Arts facilities.

Coffee and food will also be available from the college café.

Open Day is your chance to explore and embrace the possibilities on offer at BSSC.
