The college congratulates Year 12 student, Jess Chalmers, who competed in the Bendigo Competitions last weekend. Jess competed in five of the VCE Unit 3/4 sections (Song from the 20th century, Unaccompanied piece, Own choice, Additional own choice, and Arts song or song from musical theatre), winning four and placing second in the other – an incredible individual effort for a vocalist.

As a result, she was also entered into the running for the Leila Watson Memorial Trophy; an award for the highest placing performers.

You might remember Jess’s stunning performance of Adele’s “When We Were Young” at the Freeman House assembly earlier this year.
