This morning 18 Visual Arts students opted into a Printmaking Workshop at LaTrobe University Bendigo.

Students worked with Senior Lecturer of Visual Arts, Kylie Banyard.

The workshop involved students working in pairs and collaborating by painting with oil paint on an A1-size mono print.

Students worked together like a visual conversation; reacting to each other’s mark-making.

Despite time restrictions, each pair managed to pull two prints by using this process.

The students enjoyed learning more about LaTrobe University and contemporary printmaking techniques.

A big thankyou to LaTrobe Visual Arts for this opportunity as well as Katrina Kelynack and Kent Wilson for supporting this excursion.
