Perfect spring weather set the tone for a wonderful, sunny, and successful Market Day.

Run each year at BSSC, the stalls are organised by students and their teachers; each group working hard to make items for their stall, or organise donations.

A range of goodies were on offer—including plants, jewellery, candles, hampers and original artwork.

If you were in the mood for food, you were in the right place—with hot dogs, sausages, spring rolls, fruit skewers, baked potatoes and sweet treats on offer—plus some cold drinks that were equally as delicious.

Market-goers were entertained by Harvey Jenkyn-Taylor performing an Elton John tribute—plus carnival-style games.

The day was not only a lot of fun, but all for a good cause, as funds were raised for local charities FoodShare and BARC.

Market Day cannot go ahead without the support of many staff, including Judy Stewart, Mardi Holland and Sharon McColl. And of course, our creative students and their supportive teachers.

Well done everyone—the bar has been set high for next year!
