Congratulations to BSSC Alumna, Bec Willington, whose artwork ‘Checklist’ was selected for this year’s Top Arts exhibition.
It’s an incredible achievement for Bec, with over 2000 entries from around the state, 150 shortlisted and only 47 selected for the exhibition.
BSSC Art teacher, Andy Jones, attended the launch with Bec and was thrilled to celebrate her achievement.
“The standard of work at Tops Arts is outstanding,” she said. “It’s great to see so many passionate young people tackling personal and big picture issues in their artworks. I spoke to some wonderful young artists on the night.”
Bec aspires to work in clothing design and will study Fashion at RMIT in 2020.
