Volunteers wanted for Gymnastics carnival
The 2016 National Clubs Gymnastics Carnival and Australian Aerobics Championships is being held in Bendigo between the 15th and 25th September (school holidays).
Gymnastics Australia is in need of volunteers who are aged 15 years and over. This is a great Community Service activity for you to be involved in. You don’t have to be involved in gymnastics to support or be involved in the National Clubs Carnival. There are plenty of roles available and all you need is a great attitude and willingness to assist. Volunteer for one day or ten – you decide.
Volunteer positions available include Announcer, Music Coordinator, Equipment Officer, Floor Marshal, Information Assistant, IT/Scoring Assistant, Media/PR Assistant, Presentation/Ceremonies Assistant and Ticketing Officer. You will be able to choose from a variety of roles and dates when you complete the Official Application.

Cricket – Under 18 players wanted
The Eaglehawk Cricket Club is seeking Under 18 players for the upcoming 2016-17 Bendigo & District Cricket Association season. Please contact Craig Gaffee (0438 109 953) or Neil Williams (0427 570 865) if you are interested in playing Under 18 turf cricket.lay. In the boys’ 18-20yr age group, Matt Higgs won the long jump (new record), triple jump, and javelin (new record), was second in the discus, and placed third in the shot put. Nathan James won the 400m, and finished second in the 100m and 200m. In the boys 17yr age group, Hugh Schaeche won the 800m and 1500m, Tom Martin finished second in the 1500m and hurdles, and third in the triple jump. Matthew Harris finished second in the long jump, and third in the 100m and 200m.
