Bendigo Kangan TAFE CEO, Sally Curtain, stepped out of the business world and into senior secondary education today as part of Goldfields LLEN’s ‘Principal for a Day’ program.

Sally joined BSSC Principal, Dale Pearce, to experience first-hand a day in the life of a Victorian government school principal.

The ‘Principal for a Day’program is designed to increase and strengthen relationships—based on knowledge and understanding—between the private sector and education. Partnerships between key leaders in education, business and the wider community are especially important.

After an initial tour of the college with Principal, Dale Pearce, Ms Curtain visited the Victorian Virtual Learning Network, met with the Careers and Pathways team, and chatted with participants at a Student Excellence Program luncheon, before meeting with Assistant Principal, Jenny Moloney to discuss all things vocational learning.
