Congratulations to Kieran Forrest, Brodie McSweeney, Pleh Eh, Bah Blu, Htee Moo, and Per Soe who were all members of the Victorian team that was runner-up in the 2016 National School Futsal Championships held in Brisbane over the holidays.
The team finished 3rd at the end of the round-robin matches, but then defeated the 2nd placed team in the semi-final to qualify for the final. Unfortunately, they were defeated by the very strong QLD team in the final.
Special mention to Bah Blu who was selected in the All-Star team (best five players in all of Under-19) and has been asked to represent Australia in Rio next May.
