VCE Results are released tomorrow morning – Friday Dec 15.

There will be surprises—students who get ATARS both higher and lower than they expected.

“The issue can be that some students are so disappointed that they literally bury their heads in the sand. But in fact they have this wonderful –but very tight—window of opportunity to change courses,” explained Naomi Flint.

“Some students will assume they are going to miss out on a course with an ATAR of 55, and they got 50. Yet, with rural bonuses added, they may very well get over the line anyway,” she added.

The careers team are available to assist you.

BUT: you only have until Wed Dec 20 (noon) to change your VTAC preferences (university course selections).

Please don’t leave it until Wednesday morning to contact Caroline or Naomi.

They will be available during this important window period.

Contact can also be made via email over the weekend as well.

PS: A representative of Federation University will be visiting BSSC next Monday 18 December. This university offers some courses that do not use ATARs to judge eligibility.
