BSSC Year 12 student, Jacob Dupuy, has been learning general sign-making skills with local business Signarama.

Tasks such as measuring out and cutting panels, and ‘weeding’ and preparing computer cut adhesive vinyl graphics have given Jacob a genuine insight into this specialised area of work.

He also assisted with laminating digital prints for application to signage panels using Signarama’s rollover table.

Jacob was given the opportunity to play around with Signarama’s supreme wrap vinyls for vehicle wrapping applications, and has also been introduced to the graphic design aspect of sign making.

Sitting down with the business owner and Signarama’s graphic designer allowed him to learn more about the design process and preparation of files for the production of signage.
