Senior VCAL students had first-hand experience of a working goldmine yesterday when they visited the Fosterville Mine.
The excursion, organised with the support of James Sorahan from MCA Victoria, saw students take a bus tour around the site, and hear from range of mine workers about their role within the company.
It was a chance for students to ask questions and explore the many employment opportunities available in a booming industry right on their doorstep.
